December 18, 2011:
Thanks to Sharon Fulton and her willing band
of helpers, this year's Children's Christmas Program was a huge
success! The Activity Center was full of joy filled persons.
Nancy Miller and her group of helpers also provided great cookies

December 11, 2011: The Annual Holiday Dinner was held at the church this evening. With many helpers Marilyn Garner and Nancy Miller prepared a wonderful holiday meal. A large crowd enjoyed not only a great meal but singing Christmas carols and being treated to the youth singing Away in a Manger. click here for pictures |

November 20, 2011: A farewell reception for Gary & Peggy Gordier was held after church. Their new address in Austin can be found in the online directory. Thanks to Joyce Worthington there are numerous pictures of the event - click here for pictures. |

June 19, 2011: Avis
Varra, sister of Marcia Wood and long
time member of our congregation passed away at the Windsor Health
Care Center. She was 88. A memorial celebration for life will
be held at the farm home for family. A Graveside Service will
be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27th, at Grandview Cemetery. Obituary |

March 31, 2011: Luella
Foster celebrated her 95th birthday
with a receiption at Rigden Farms where she resides. Friends
from the congregation and Rigden Farms enjoyed the celebration.

February 5th * Sad News We are sorry to have to announce that Gary Clark passed away this morning around 7:30 a.m. His family was with him in the hospital. He has been dealing with a number of health issues in the last few years and recently was readmitted to the hospital. Arrangements are pending. Please remember his wife Donna, their children Jared and Shauna, and the grandchildren Madison and Bianca in your praying and caring. Also, tomorrow, Sunday, February 6, there will be a farewell reception immediately following church in the Fellowship Hall for Robin Higgins, Eric Bouch, and Jon Higgins. They will be moving to Ohio on February 11 to look for work there. Our prayers go with them in their journey. Note: Pictures are from the 2003 & 2005 picnics |

Forum Following the Pancake Breakfast, Lindsay Melsen from Lambda Community Center, facilitated a workshop on "Building an Inclusive Community". The workshop explored our biases and reservations about all different types of people. Our fears, language and living out our Covenant of Welcome were topics of the morning. Following the workship the WEAVERS committee provided a short devotion/worship service. |

October 10th - The Second Sunday Social was the Annual Harvest Festival. As you can see from Pastor Sharon's pictures (click here) the costumes were fabulous and the pumpkin carving enjoyed by all. |
