Sunday Giving: On
the first Sunday of each month we bring non-perishable food items
for the Food Bank. This tangible response to hunger in our community
is just one area where we recognize the blessings and grace of God in our lives. (In 2010 our congregation donated 620 pounds of food, worth an estimated $996.80, to the Larimer County Food Bank.) |

2 Cents a Meal: For many years our congregation has hosted a meal site on Wednesdays and Fridays. The meals are provided by Volunteers of America and we provide the program, staff and facility. A monetary donation is suggested from the participants, but on the last Friday of the month our congregation pays for all the meals that day as a gift to the seniors that attend. The 2 cents a meal offering we receive the 2nd Sunday of the month supports this ministry. The name comes from a long standing suggestion that during the month we set aside 2 cents for every meal we enjoy and donate that money for this special ministry. |
